I live and work in Boulder, CO where I am a research scientist at INSTAAR, An Earth & Environmental Sciences Institute at the University of Colorado. I am the co-director of the INSTAAR Biogeochemistry Laboratory and my work focuses on the biogeochemistry and microbial ecology of terrestrial ecosystems. Currently, most of my field research focuses on tropical rain forest ecosystems, but I also collaborate with other scientists at CU and elsewhere working in a diversity of ecosystems. For more information on my professional activities, please visit the IBL website, or feel free to drop me a line via E-Mail.
When I am not at work, Beckie and I spend our time skiing, climbing, flyfishing, canyoneering, just about anything that we can do outdoors! <grin>
